Dear Kalyani,
Yesterday in Toastmaster Club there was a speech on the topic, "The Art Of Gifting". Speech had nice content and it was aided with visually rich slide deck. Speaker mainly spoke about three kinds of special gifts...
- The gift of affection
- The gift of favor
- The gift of written note
It was the last kind, The gift of written note, which made me think longer about the topic. I realized that so far I didn't write any note to you; neither a letter nor an e-mail. However it make sense because you are just four and half years old and you don't know reading. But, does that matter? With little discipline and ounce of commitment, perhaps I can create a series of letters for you. Today you don't know how to read but tomorrow, when you would be able to read, these letters will give you glimpses of my feelings for you. Through these letters I would get opportunities to preach (of course); to share some insightful experiences of my life; to share nuggets of useful information; to share my happiness and at times sorrows as well.
My dear, this blog is a my gift of written notes to you.
Yours lovingly,
Baba
